Synopsis: Before the Rooster Crows Twice is a fiction novel inspired by true events which tells the story of a woman's supernatural experience after abandoning her faith in God. Photographer Sarah Gallus runs from her tragic past right into a world of temptation when she gets involved with two handsome, non-committal men. Ultimately, a spiritual battle for her soul ensues, and dying at the hands of her new friends is imminent if she does not escape.

C. Arden Michaels is a former anchor, director, reporter, and host who spent a combined 20 years as a broadcaster in music-formatted radio and television news. Michaels is also a published magazine writer and poet and resides in California. Writing was always a passion that started at the age of ten with poetry and then continued into college with creative writing strengths. It's only natural that Michaels became an author. Nine years ago two other fiction novels were in the works, but Before the Rooster Crows Twice took precedence because of its nature. When God calls, one should answer!

The question, "Does God exist?" enters the mind of just about every human being, doesn't it? Only those who have passed on can really know for sure. But is that totally accurate? Many people are convinced that He does exist, and this story aims to do exactly that. During the very short span of time that Sarah Gallus, BTRCT's lead character, spent with two men in Long Beach and the Arizona desert - something huge was taking place in the spiritual world - an unseen battle for their souls. Michaels tiptoes into that realm to show you a glimpse of how Sarah's life was affected by spirits - both good and evil.

It has been nine years since Michaels started the journey of writing BTRCT and finally it is complete. God's timing is just right. The world has seen such a dramatic shift, and just as people are turning away from believing, many are seeking to know Him more. You may see similarities in your own walk through life. This story was written for you to stop and think about the possibilities.
