Ok, let's dive into Before the Rooster Crows Twice. This is a faith based novel inspired by true events that happened among friends while vacationing in the desert. It begins with Sarah, Robbie, and Stuart taking a drive to Roka Valley in an area known as Castle Dome Landing. Castle Dome is actually a ghost town in Arizona along the Colorado River. It is the backdrop to BTRCT's climactic scene. As the chapters continue, the story flashes back to how Sarah met Stuart and Robbie and explains the reason for escaping her tragic past. Meeting two handsome and flirtatious men causes Sarah's world to turn upside-down. Dark forces are watching her and enticing her further away from the light of a decent life. In turn, what begins is a spiritual warfare. It's when the threesome takes the trip to the desert that everything changes, and Sarah finds herself fighting for her life.

"Whether there was truth to any outcome resulting from the coincidental lineup of the moon and day – or an optical illusion of a planet traveling backward in space – Sarah and Stuart ignored Robbie’s warning. They were well into this journey, and she was not about to turn back because of superstitions."

“What are you doing back there?” Sarah inquired, eyeing Stuart’s makeshift bar.
The former contentious conversation at the grocery store was washed away with the introduction of booze.
“I don’t tell all my secrets,” Stuart smiled, passing her the cup. “Here, little darling. Take a long, hard swig of that.”
